Your individual plan will dictate your out of pocket expense for treatment, usually the specialist rate on your card is your copay.
High deductible health plans- will be billed to the insurance carrier. If the deductible has not been met you will be responsible for your bill, it will be applied toward the deductible.
Medicare will not pay for an initial exam, which is required by Medicare and the doctor to determine a diagnosis for each patient. The out of pocket expense for the initial exam and treatment will be $60. After that, the out of pocket expense for treatment will typically be 20% of the bill for the visit.
Most plans have coverage for chiropractic and the majority of plans do not require a referral, however if you have any questions please contact your insurance carrier in advance.
For patients that do not have insurance, the initial visit is $60 and follow up treatments are $35.
Payment is expected at the time of the visit and can be made via check, credit card or cash.
